Ending Hunger With Starbucks Foodshare

It's easy to think that large businesses can't have local impact. But some international brands, like Starbucks, are making a commitment to investing in their local communities, and it's having a huge impact.

Starbucks FoodShare is a partnership between the coffee giant and Feeding America, one of the largest organizations working to end hunger in the United States. At the end of the day, Starbucks baristas pack-up unused but quality food from their local store, which is then distributed by food banks to those in need.

In addition to helping Starbucks save on food disposal services, FoodShare has a big impact. On a national level, Starbucks is helping to provide 50 million meals annually and diverting 60 million pounds of food waste from landfills.

Novel is excited to bring integrated community partnerships like FoodShare to local communities across the country. Get in touch with us if you're interested in learning more!
